In my role with Royal Bank America, I was responsible for RBA Capital, Special Assets & Royal Tax Liens.Royal Tax Lien DivisionIn 2010 the President of the Royal Bank’s Tax Lien Division resigned at which time the President of Royal Bank America and Chief Operating Officer transferred the division under my management. In this position I was charged with managing the Day to Day operations of the company and the orderly liquidation of the $125MM tax lien portfolio. This effort included management of the staff, attorney relationships as well as revising and redefining the operational efforts of the company. Special Assets Division Responsibilities were focused on the management of a diversified portfolio of adversely rated credits, which had significant value, complexity, and sensitivity to the overall stability of the Bank. Primary mission statement is to manage the assets in a manner preserving outstanding principal by minimizing risk, maximizing loan collection, minimizing and recovering collection cost wherever possible (including legal fees and expenses), and maximizing return on assets. Promptly analyze and evaluate exposure, as well as loan documentation for assigned accounts (loan loss reserve, financial viability, feasibility of projects, future prospects, collateral, legal documentation) and report both internal and external deficiencies for each borrower.RBA Capital DivisionManagement of diverse Hard Money Portfolio consisting of roughly $75MM in Rediscount Lending Facilities throughout the United States of America. Managed and directed the daily activities of the RBA Capital Rediscount Portfolio. These activities include, but are not limited to all lending functions including funding, processing, and oversight of the portfolio. This role also included loan documentation and client relations. I was also a member of Executive Loan Committee and a member of the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities included new business development with regards to Real Estate Rediscount Facilities and Consumer Debt Buying Facilities. This included initial contact with prospective clients, including the development and issuance of term sheets to said perspective clients. Accepted term sheets would then lead to the underwriting of Rediscount Facilities including operations, financial performance, servicing abilities, valuation and other aspects of the clients operations. Potential loans that passed underwriting were then presented to Executive Loan Committee. Approved loan then required loan documentation of deals from inception to close including all aspects of dealing with lawyers on both sides as well as the clients to ensure that the loan documentation was accurate and within the terms approved by Executive Loan Committee.

This was a residual Company of ABFS that was created to manage off a selected portfolio of loans. The company was shut down upon the liquidation of the portfolio. The sale of this portfolio was don through the collection and sale of the assets. As Managing Director my role was to oversee the orderly liquidation of the assets and review the sale proposals from the potential buyers. Once these sale proposals were accepted, the sales were documented and the assets transferred to the Buyer.

Hired under a "Crisis Management" mode to salvage the Servicing Portfolio and protect the residual value of the portfolio for the investors. With the company in Bankruptcy it was vital to try to maximize the returns on the portfolio while dealing with the process of closing operations. This position included the management of the Collection Department, Workout, Loss Mitigation and Customer Service Group.

As the Vice President of Stragytics (Combining Strategy &Analytics) my role was to utilize my team of Analyst to provide Risk Mitigation and Support various business units in setting strategies to achieve corporate, divisional and business unit goals. To accomplish this we created the company’s Enterprise Data Warehouse using SQL programming, which in turn allowed us to create a robust reporting system that allowed business units to have access to real time data to make strategic and tactical decisions to achieve the goals of Customer Service, Strategic Marketing, Collections and Default Management. This also was the platform that my team and I used to create the Monthly Executive Reporting Package that was used by various operational groups to set product pricing, design new products as well as aid in the Budgeting process.

In this position, my role was to provide the company with portfolio analytics. These analytics were developed to support the Collection and Origination groups in the company. They were designed to provide current information on the portfolio or sources of acquisition as well as static pool information on their performance for the Originations Group. With regards to the Collection Group the focus was on defining loans with a high risk of default and targeting these loans earlier in the collection process to ensure that the Collection Group was able to meet the goals of the company.

Responsibilities included the day to day management of multiple Timeshare loan portfolios with regards to the reporting and investor accounting. The position eventually took over the management of the RFC portfolio that the company acquired. As the company grew, the position was moved under project management where we worked on the conversation of the current servicing platform to a new servicing platform that the company had purchased.
