1. Sets objectives for the Human Resources Department, monitors progress, and ensures that objectives are met on time, within the approved budget and in compliance with the pertinent policy and procedures.2. Manages HR Function to ensure sufficient and efficient support for the company operational success.3. Manages the annual HR Business Plan and WP&B and secures approval from government. Monitors and evaluates the implementation of the WP&B in the HR area throughout the year toensures the annual employee budget transaction for all departments are within the approved budget.4 Manages the implementation of human resources policies, procedures, and programs for various areas of human resources management Designs manpower plans to ensure fulfillment of the company’s manpower needs to support effective and efficient operations.5 Manages the implementation of job analysis, job evaluation and job grading for the organization to ensure that proper remuneration is applied in order to maintain competitiveness with other companies in the same industry.6. Establishes soundly based compensation and benefits standards and work agreement for all national employees, ensuring that the terms are fair and competitive in the “Market” or Industrial Relations trends and demands.7. Manages the administration of national employee compensation & benefits and ensures effective and efficient process and compliance with Government regulations and Company’s policy and procedures.8. Manages the salary administration and formalities for expatriate employees in compliance with Government regulations and Company’s policy and procedures.9. Secures approval on relevant human resources matters from related Government Bodies.10. Keeps abreast of applicable laws and regulations that apply to the function and maintains up-to-date compliance.

1.The Sr. Manager HRSS is responsible to plan and direct the activities of the Human Resources and Support Services function for various areas. Including the regular and continuous management of the function. 2.Manages all the activities relating to Human Resources and Support Services to ensure that the organization is staffed with qualified and required manpower, industrial relations is well maintained and to facilitate employees in achieving their optimum potential while maintaining compliance with Company’s policies and procedures and pertinent laws and regulations. 3.Masters the formal and informal departmental goals, standards, policies & procedures that may include some familiarity of other departments within Salamander Energy. Is sensitive to interrelationships of both people and functions within the department and the company.
