Digital Scientists is a software innovation lab – an integrated team of product designers and software developers using the latest frameworks and tools to deliver awesome new software products. We partner with forward-thinking businesses to create mobile apps, websites, ecommerce stores and internet of things (IoT) applications. Established in 2007, we are proud to call metro Atlanta home. We believe in taking a “design thinking” approach to solving complex problems for users.

I served as an engineering director, overseeing curriculum and our front-end engineering instructors.

I served as an instructor and mentor to students who wished to become front-end engineers. I taught multiple 12-week intensive courses per year with approximately 15 students per course. I also supported our other FEE instructors by providing the resources they needed when it came to curriculum.

Built and maintained produce database tools.

I built and maintained websites, applications and servers. These projects consisted of sites built on WordPress, Shopify, and numerous custom applications (Ruby, PHP). I also managed the day-to-day operations including sales and marketing.

My days were spent writing full-stack JavaScript and some PHP. I also assisted with managing the servers and squashing bugs as they arose. While there, I had a role in building Barley CMS, Barley for WordPress, and the Open Source project Unmark.

Full-Stack developer working on the Yahoo Small Business platform, Shopify, Magento and other ecommerce platforms. I worked on hundreds of ecommerce websites and built the majority from start to finish.

After Solid Cactus was sold to Web.com, I continued to lead developer of the alternate platforms division.

I was the lead developer of the alternate platforms division that worked developing Amazon Web Stores, Ebay ProStores, Magento and some other small ecommerce platforms. I had the privilege of introducing the team to WordPress and spun off an entire division that focused on building custom WordPress websites and storefronts.

Full-Stack Developer, working with JavaScript, RTML and PHP. Most development was done on the Yahoo! Small Business platform.

Managed a case of between 35-40 individuals with mental and physical disabilities. Helped them get the resources they needed.
