My internship at Cornell’s is wide-ranging, educational, and hands-on. The first summer, I was asked to learn about specific designers and demonstrate my knowledge while networking with wholesalers. By the end of my internship, I gained knowledge in diamond grading, pricing, and sourcing. As well as expanding my gemstone knowledge by learning about their weaknesses and strengths. Not only was I on the sales floor executing high ticket sales, but I took part in Cornell’s Instagram boosting their reach and impressions in my first summer there. Now back again, growing even more with the company while on the sales floor.

During my time at Alex Mika Jewelry, I was exposed to the interworking of running an online store. I learned how to use and manage Shopify and successfully assisted with social media marketing.

As a Sales Associate I was responsible for maintaining and building upon Jennifer's existing client relationships. When I wasn't selling, I organized inventory and performed office duties.

Working at Von Maur was my first experience working for commission as a Sales Associate. I quickly learned, I enjoyed building relationships with high end customers and was proud to have earned the highest month sales in the nation.
