- Responsible for providing parts support to hangar, intermediate & line maintenance ensuring aircraft ready times are met. - Responsible for the procurement and movement of all parts required for hangar shortages and open OMI / MCO / CMI / PUSEDO items requiring parts through the SAP system. This entails sourcing parts through approved suppliers, verifying certification paperwork, creating purchase orders, and arranging transportation after purchase. - Coordinate originating paperwork for aircraft, engine, NHA, and Kit robs to support Hangar and Line Aircraft. Required to ensure compliance is maintained according to all Delta, FAA, ATA, IOTA, DOT, and OSHA policies and procedures as they relate to aircraft maintenance and part movement. This includes support of all aircraft and component configuration issues as called out in all aircraft maintenance technical manuals- Ensure compliance and safety practices are followed in all operational processes and procedures. - Proficient use of SAP computer systems on a daily basis. Familiar with ATA systems and their applications and possess a general knowledge of aircraft and engine systems and operations.
