I have been involved in GNSS R&D since 1998. In 2006, I received a Ph.D. degree from Ghent University (Belgium) for research on algorithms for regional GPS augmentation systems. From 2006 to 2021, I worked as an embedded software engineer in GNSS signal processing and later as a System Engineer at Septentrio and Antwerp Space. At both companies, I was deeply involved in the development of the Galileo Test User Receivers (IOV/FOC TUR-N/TUR-P), developed under ESA contract as part of the Galileo Test User Segment. For a number of years, I have also been involved in the RTCM SC104 committee as company representative. As of 2022, I am working as a consultant. In my spare time, I am involved in the Netherlands Institute of Navigation, the European Group of Institutes of Navigation (EUGIN) and the International Association of Institutes of Navigation (IAIN).
