 Responsible for the Construction of Blast Resistant Substations inside Mina Ahmadi Refinery, Kuwait. Familiar with Brown field working procedures inside KNPC, (Kuwait National Petroleum Company )Mina Ahmadi Refinery . Responsible for safe execution of new Blast resistant Substation Building which includes the following stages Demolition of existing Blast Resistant Control building , where various live underground facilities and utility lines where available Core Drilling and setting up of well point system for de-watering system .Drilling works and establishment of well points were done in a very critical brown field area, where many live cables and underground facilities were present. Cold Drilling /Water drilling were undertaking in very critical areas. Establishment of De-watering system in a location where water table is available in less than 60 cm depth. Strengthening of existing soil /Soil stabilization works which includes Rigid Inclusion. Shoring /Soil benching works for deep foundations Water proofing works for raft foundation and basement. Mass concreting for raft foundation, Blast resistant concrete walls & slab. Familiar with KNPC work permit systems and KNPC Safe Work Practices. Responsible for the co-ordination between Clients and Subcontractors. Responsible for achieving project work progress as per the planned schedule. Responsible for the certification subcontractor’s invoices

 Approximately 6 years experience as Civil Construction Engineer in Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) for the execution of Mega project “Clean Fuel Project” in Kuwait having project value of 16 Billion USD Responsible for the safe execution of project in both brown field & green field inside Mina Ahmadi Refinery, Kuwait. Responsible for signing work permits, excavation authorization and Critical task Risk assessment (CTRA) /Risk assessment. Lead role in the Quality inspection of civil, structural, fireproofing & underground piping works. Responsible for the Co-coordination & allocation of daily NFIs to the team. Familiar with all international /local standards including DEP, ASTM, KOC & KNPC standards. Lead role in attending Mechanical completion (MC) walk downs & PSSR site visits.  Responsible for the co-ordination and execution of all Tie-in works of utility line (ODS, AOC, Sanitary and Storm water line) inside the Mina Al Ahmadi Refinery. Responsible for reviewing contractor’s technical proposals, drawings, WMS & other submittals with project specifications & international standards. Attending site visits & co-ordination meetings. Responsible for the co-ordination with different department in the KNPC including General works and Operations.  Co-ordination with PMC, Contractor and other department for all interface issues related civil department. Involved in the safety audits & quality audits. Involved in the preparation of official letters & memos.  Experienced in handling warranty issues and initiating Defect Notification Request (DNR).

 Responsible for the project planning , preparation of submittals ,Quantity surveying , preparation of drawings , site supervision , sub-contractor management & preparation of cost analysis for more than 50 projects in Kuwait, Iraq ,Qatar & Bahrain Responsible for construction activities at site. Lead role in the quality inspection. Involved in the preparation the bid offer for different projects by preparing the technical proposals.  Preparation of project schedule and analysis the resources. Responsible for the preparation all submittals including material submittal , WMS & drawing submittals Reviewing all shop/ construction drawings for clients approvals  Involved in Material take off for planning, procurement and cost analysis.  Preparation of sub-contractor agreement with all the subcontractors  Experienced in negotiating with major suppliers/subcontractors, approving important Purchase orders & Sub contractor Agreement and inspection of main project materials. Participating meeting with owner, major suppliers & subcontractors.  Certification of all Invoices for Payment. Co-ordination with different department including planning, contracts, procurement, design & cost control. Experienced in Maintenance Contract with Joint Operation in Wafra. Implementation and compliance of Quality Management system as per ISO 9001:2008 and Safety procedures as per OHSAS 18001:2007
