Nadia Kakridonis was enthralled by the arts at a young age. After graduating with a degree from Humber College’s Advertising and Graphic Design Program in 2008, Nadia went on to work for a couple of smaller agencies as a Junior Art Director.Deciding that this was not the path she wanted to go down, Nadia founded Twist Gallery. Since it opened back in February 2010, she has curated and hosted over more than150 events, working closely with companies such as the Brose Canada Inc., APEX Public Relations Inc., NXNE Music, Make Up Forever, and Film Festival, Nuit Blanche, and Humber College. Nadia is in charge of executing every event and art displayed in the venue. The last few years have seen this young gallery blossom into one of Queen West’s prime locations for both art exhibits, events and weddings with this young and dynamic owner at the helm.
