My career goal is to continue with the intellectual aspect of my profession. I want to Provide litigation support as an expert witness in insurance related areas. Having qualified in state and federal courts as an expert in the areas of insurance contracts, operations, damages, cause and origin, practice and procedure, bad faith ... To often litigation involving insurance is left wanting a clear explanation of what a term means or how a clause affects the facts at issue. As an expert witness it is my function to provide the trier of fact that professional insight that allows them to weigh the facts by that standard. In the last nine years more than 94 percent of my assignments have concluded based on my rule 26 reports. My clients have not always prevailed as their cause was non-meritorious, and my recommendation suggested they conclude under the best possible terms. Allowing the cause of action to be concluded quickly with the inherent savings of money, public image and potential "badlaw."Training is a task that I have always enjoyed. I am a contributing author to IIA texts, industry publications and courses. I authored insurance continuing education courses that were approved by the state of Michigan. I was pleased to also instruct these courses. I have worked as an instructor in the Lawrence University of Technology school of insurance, as well as many company sponsored courses.
