I worked in concert with another a local professional to build and expand a contract services organization focused on AS/400 contract services resources. This was a start up location for a firm located out of state. Over a period of 18 months, we built a location with a revenue stream exceeding $1,000,000. We achieved this during the post Y2K market downturn which during that time, negatively impacted most legacy systems businesses. We achieved consistent quarter over quarter and annual profitability. We accomplished this by bringing on multiple new clients through a focus on contract services for legacy AS/400 development (RPG ILE), web development (Domino, Lotus Notes) and data warehousing solutions. Deliverying value to our clients and career opportunities for our consultants.
