I started out in silicon valley in the early 70's and the yearning to move north caught up to me in the late 70's. I have been in the Southern Oregon area over 40 years now and have watched it grow in many areas, some beneficial and others not so much. I worked in construction of roads when I first moved to Oregon. After that I decide to try my hand at house construction. I always enjoyed working with my hands on wood and metal projects. Picked up photography along the way just to add another dimension to my perspective. I also tried several other avenues of one that gave me the opportunity to build the prototypes for my invention. The Lockking Security Bar is what the invention ended up being named. It's a unique aluminum security bar for sliding glass doors and windows. I've been manufacturing them for over 9 years. It is a specialty product but every home could benefit from it. I build and maintain my own websites and sell only in the US on the internet. I felt I wanted my product made in the US for my own personal beliefs. It wasn't that I didn't try to market the product to the big box stores, but they gave me price points that were unrealistic unless I went offshore to have them made. So now I am a small company in Southern Oregon that manufactures and sells solely on the internet but Made in the USA.
