• Directs and coordinates activities within the Product Engineering department and aids in formulating and administering organizational policies.• Manage day to day as well as long-term projects of our tool room.• Plans and formulates product engineering program and organizes staff according to project requirements.• Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract requirements.• Manages activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.• Responsible for Product Engineering department activities including but not limited to quote reviews, design specifications, and project management.• Responsible for Product Data Engineering activities including solid models of customers products, detail drawings and control plans.• Controls expenditures within limitations of product engineering and toolroom budgets.• Responsible for managing all aspects of engineering related issues with our customers through subordinate personnel.• Participates in developing strategic direction of the business.• Responsible for Tool Room activities including tool design, tool build, and tool maintenance.• Responsible for Engineering Clerk activities including the Engineering Change Procedure, Syteline database, Corrective Action Requests. • Responsible for managing CNC programming activities.• Work with production to improve processes, remove cost, and proactively address quality concerns whether driven by the customer or internally.

• Manage day to day as well as long-term projects of our tool room consisting of 5 tool makers• Evaluate, document, and give employee performance reviews• Verify annual tool room costs versus projected costs to determine profit or loss• Use work order log to track quoted costs of projects versus actual costs• Work with customers/designers to develop new products that can successfully be produced• Quote new product to include tooling, engineering, and part costs• Assign and direct our product data engineers in developing fixturing and tooling for new product being launched• Update and document existing product as changes or revisions are made• Address quality issues with customers or internal production departments during production• Visit customers on fixed intervals for general review of ongoing projects and any open issues regarding current product• Work with production to improve processes, remove cost, and proactively address quality concerns whether driven by the customer or internally

• Supervise 14 employees in 2 departments• Evaluate and document employee performance• Perform random quality audits• Track machine and operator efficiency• Work on CNC programs if problems arise during production• Update and set daily schedule to maintain 95% on time• Work with vendors, purchasing and reworking tooling• Evaluate time standards and routings for accuracy
