• Directs and coordinates activities within the Product Engineering department and aids in formulating and administering organizational policies.
• Manage day to day as well as long-term projects of our tool room.
• Plans and formulates product engineering program and organizes staff according to project requirements.
• Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract requirements.
• Manages activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
• Responsible for Product Engineering department activities including but not limited to quote reviews, design specifications, and project management.

• Manage day to day as well as long-term projects of our tool room consisting of 5 tool makers
• Evaluate, document, and give employee performance reviews
• Verify annual tool room costs versus projected costs to determine profit or loss
• Use work order log to track quoted costs of projects versus actual costs
• Work with customers/designers to develop new products that can successfully be produced
• Quote new product to include tooling, engineering, and part costs

• Supervise 14 employees in 2 departments
• Evaluate and document employee performance
• Perform random quality audits
• Track machine and operator efficiency
• Work on CNC programs if problems arise during production
• Update and set daily schedule to maintain 95% on time
