I have always had an interest in technology and love to problem solve, which led me to pursue a BS in Software Development after getting my AS in Computer Information Systems—both while continuing to work full time. On my team and in the office, I am the go-to guy for technical questions or problems. I learn and acquire new skills quickly, so very often, I can answer questions or resolve most technology-related issues without having to call the IT Help Desk. In school, I gained practical, hands-on experience through project work.• Developed an online post-flight debriefing program utilizing Python and its Django library. • Developed an online dashboard that presented monthly flight data to the user.• Utilized Python Pandas and the Django framework to collect and present the data stored in a Postgres Database. I have also applied the knowledge from my education to address issues in my current role. I have a knack for utilizing technology to solve problems and streamline the work environment. Continuous improvement is my mindset.• Utilized Python Pandas library to develop an Air Med quality improvement program that identifies areas for improvement resulting in improved patient care by collecting and compiling data and crew member scores from transported patient charts.• Using Python Pandas, created a command line program that took in a large Xls file and extracted data on flight volumes used for monthly reporting to MercyOne administration. • Implemented new narcotic tracking software to better track waste and identify early potential diversions.• Used JavaScript to build out skeleton quality improvement and issue reporting system.I am curious, resourceful, a methodical thinker, and a strong collaborator who supports open communication and teamwork.
