Undergraduate Researcher in Dr. Robert Blanton's Lab at Tufts Medical Center through Tufts University School of Biomedical Sciences. Participated in the Building Diversity in Biomedical Sciences summer research internship. Studied the effects of Heart Failure in protein signaling cascades. Experimented with possible MLK3 activators in vitro in the hopes of attenuating heart failure.

-Manage team compliance with university policies allowing us to operate, travel, and compete in regattas nationally. -Facilitate team conduct, organization, and operation internally to allow daily practice and use of facilities-Hold executive board meetings and member meetings to follow compliance guidelines, set new policies, and schedule competitions, regattas, travel, and leadership opportunities within the university and externally. -Set budgets, purshase equipment, provide operational management of our facilities (docks, boathouse, property, and boats).

-Plan and facilitate fundraising opportunities for Baylor Crew throughout the sports season to enhance our team's performance in regattas and widen our abilities by providing more opportunities for growth. -Manage team members engagement in fundraising activities by selling merchandise, boat-smash fundraisers, and alumni outreach. -Developed new avenues for raising funds necessary to support and expand the teams assets.

-Create, plan, manage, and facilitate recruitment events for Baylor Crew throughout the our season to widen students' interest in rowing, improve accessibility to the sport, expand the team of hardworking athletes. -Coordinate with Baylor Student Activities for showcasing opportunities like Boats on Fountain Mall and Baylor's Late Night for incoming freshmen. -Manage our team's image and new student engagement through coordination with our social media chair.

Laboratory Assistant to the Baylor Biology Department. Set up, planned, and trouble shot lab activities for students and graduate students. Worked through software and computer applications like ImageJ. Managed a max of 4 laboratories per semester assisting students, Teacher's assistants in teaching, demonstrated lab techniques. Developed my interpersonal skills and honed my laboratory techniques.

-Principal Investigator for the undergraduate laparoscopic lab program where my group investigated the optimal trocar angle of entry for pregnant females undergoing laparoscopic procedures. -The study was conducted on boxes designed to mimic a patients abdomen and expose undergraduates to research as well as how to properly conduct a research inquiry. -Taught my members how to write abstracts, posters, design experimental procedures, and ensure compliance with Baylor's internal review board for research ethics.-Proctured CURES Symposium for undergraduate research presentations.

-Undergraduate researcher for Baylor's undergraduate laparoscopic program. -Conducted experiments to evaluate the complications of obesity and insufflation on bariatric laparoscopic procedures using boxes to mimic in vivo laparoscopic procedures. -Presented at CURES Symposium at Baylor University.
