At NASG I was part of a select team of approximately 10 members that was responsible for strategic planning, sales strategy, new customer analysis, new business analysis, competitive analysis, and competitor analysis. As a leader and a voice of reason in the corporate side of the organization, my daily responsibilities were focused on ensuring NASG provided the absolute best in class advanced engineering support to each customer. This included multi-step formability studies, product design proposals, FEA case studies (A to B comparisons), tolerance stack up analysis, GD&T change recommendations, new product GD&T generation, product design optimization (tooling and manufacturing), VAVE activities, and more. In this role I led and supported NASG’s development teams across NA. We worked at a technical level, most often prior to new business award. This required ongoing collaboration between the customer base, the sales and estimating teams, the new product launch team, the appropriate NASG facility, and the mass production tooling supplier. Our focus was to develop a superior product design, process design, manufacturing process, and competitive advantage for NASG and the customer. This process increased the opportunity to win new business, yielded improved margins, lowered total lifecycle cost, and produced a much more stable manufacturing process for NASG and the customer.

MES was formerly Middleville Tool and Die Company, Inc.As an owner of the company and a member of the board of directors I was responsible for strategic planning, sales strategy, new business analysis, automotive market analysis, and more. In my day to day role of Sales & Engineering Manager I was responsible to lead and support all sales and engineering activities for new business acquisition. This included inside and outside sales management, technical sales, cost estimating, program management, R&D activities, and prototype development. The company flourished with opportunities, I was truly blessed to be part of something once so great.
