Supervising the team of basecoat production workers across various shifts and departments. • Managing and engaging in line production to achieve goals in efficiency, costs and budgets and proper quality control methods. • Ensuring the availability of production resources including materials, equipment, and labor. • Facilitating monthly departmental briefings to analyze production schedule attainment, product quality improvement and implement cost saving action plans. • Maintaining a high standard of worker morale to promote employee retention and completing timely evaluations to provide feedback. • Monitoring equipment and production areas and communicated maintenance, safety and mechanical issues. • Adhering to OSHA, EPA and Hazmat standards and completing the required reporting. • Complying with inventory control and logistical operations in order to track and order supplies. • Processing raw goods, loading and unloading shipments, stocking and testing machines, and cleaning workstations. • Completing autobody and vehicle repair operations in order to close insurance claims and routine maintenance tickets. • Using tools and equipment throughout the factory to complete production and repair standards.
