I believe it is important to balance two essential qualities to be successful in any position you may hold. The first is Leadership – the ability to create a consensus among diverse groups of people, articulate and execute a vision and mission for the future in a data driven environment. The ability to create a culture of collaboration and lead by example. My leadership philosophy is that of a “servant” leader who is willing to do whatever it takes to be successful while upholding an organization's core beliefs. The second imortant quality is Management – the ability to organize, schedule and prioritize on multiple fronts, while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for customers. Responsive to the needs of customers and employees and focused on creating the conditions that will lead to success. Adept at data analysis and using data to make informed decisions with regard to the decision making process. Both of these qualities are important for success and keeping these in balance is a must. Leadership without management will lead to great ideas with no follow through and management without leadership has no vision for the future but both qualities together allow you to create and implemement your ideas.
