Razing the Bar provides mentorship, permanent connections and housing assistance to youth who've aged out of the foster care system, as well as other under resourced, disadvantaged and homeless transitioned aged youth populations.

Assisting transition aged youth with mental health challenges in maximizing their potential.

Counseled. trained and supported current and former foster youth in their professional development. This included facilitating employment training and retention workshops, developing a revenue generating art program, providing academic support and referrals, transportation assistance and other duties geared towards improving outcomes of current and former foster youth. Assisted those receiving CalWorks benefits in securing employment. Facilitated employment related workshops, created mutually beneficial relationships with local businesses and community partners and supported job search efforts. Additionally, assisted in creating employment hiring events and soliciting community support.

Provided one on one, group and family counseling services for minors court ordered to the Ranch. Monitored the progress of assigned youth and reported to courts. Assisted in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and wards of the court. Responded to emergencies - fights, escapes, etc.

Current Moves was an electric transportation retailer, with both a physical storefront and an online store. We sold and serviced electric bicycles, electric motor kits and electric scooters. We also offered electric bicycle rentals.

Bags for Betterment was created in response to both - the growing nationwide ban on plastic bags - and the need for improved outcomes among disadvantaged populations. The intention was to create a durable, reusable bag that would could fold up small enough to carry in a purse, or even back pocket. Equally important in the mission was the pledge to give 50% of net profits to various non profits serving under resourced populations throughout the country. A prototype and pattern were created. Due to international sourcing and pricing complications, however, Bags for Betterment never went into production.

Plain Clothes was a socially conscious clothing company that offered apparel made from recycled fibers, hemp, bamboo, and other low impact materials. Started out in 1995 with a line of hats, t-shirts and sweatshirts, and by 2003 Plain Clothes offered a full line of of both mens and women apparel. Plain Clothes was carried at various independent retailers, the most notable of which was Fred Segal's in Beverly Hills.
