Responsible for overseeing District high-stakes strategic initiative projects and leading complex data analyses to generate data-driven recommendations for district leaders and/or to support leaders in making data-driven decisions. Collaborate with District cabinet members, Board members, and external vendors to initiate, plan, execute, and lead programs across central departments. Project manage and lead implementation of District strategic plan.Define and manage the implementation of high-stakes major initiatives aligned with the strategic plan utilizing project management techniques and skills. Conduct sophisticated quantitative analysis of district data with the aim of informing decisions and strategic direction. Define and use descriptive and diagnostic analytics to help find potential outcomes and evaluate those outcomes to identify both challenges and solutions in support of Jeffco’s strategic plan and major initiatives. Create structures and drive accountability for complex, cross-functional initiatives. Ability to interface with cabinet members, high level district leaders, and external stakeholders/resources. Coordinate and manage activities with the team of professionals assigned to the project. Obtain appropriate resources and build teams to perform the project work, monitor, and mitigate project risks along the way. Lead the following: Program schedule management, communication management; scope definition management; issue/risk management; budget management; training and delivery management; test planning; support planning; and status reporting. Lead teams to deliver projects that span across multiple business units within the District. Interface with customer and purchasing teams to support RFI/RFP process when required. Facilitate and coordinate the District’s highest-stake projects, including the internal analysis, initiation, planning, execution, status, user acceptance training and closure; and external stakeholder engagement.

Monitor progress and make adjustments when needed, as well as measure project performance and identify areas for improvement.

Performed project work that is critical to the organization pertaining to systems and applications that are used by District staff and students. I worked in the Business Engagement department within the Information Technology Division and began managing IT projects ranging from the district's October Count (State Process that reports the number of students with each building in the district), the Tech For Education Pilot program within the Pomona articulation area, and the implementation of eSports with Jeffco's Athletic department. Budgets range from $50K-$1M. This work consisted of analyzing and recommending project solutions surrounding IT systems and processes that affect the business continuity of our organization. I worked collaboratively with teams to find solutions and resolve issues that may impact project work. This worked required me to communicate effectively and inclusively to ensure that the project scope is understood as well as the budget and timelines for projects are adhered to. During this time, I also worked as an administrator to support the district’s project portfolio tool (Planview or PPM Pro) , creating reports, working with the vendor on software issues, working with other PM and Admin staff on how to use the tool and working closely with the Business Engagement team to ensure success. I attended and actively participated in project steering committee meetings, operations meetings, Project portfolio implementation meetings and project meetings.

During this time I worked with various teams across multiple departments and assisted with tasks on projects. I joined the Business Engagement department in July 2017 as a intern and began focusing on project and portfolio management. In the middle of July in 2017 I began managing my first IT projects for the district (Implementation of Clever, implementation of Adobe Creative Cloud and Spark, and Microsoft Operating System Upgrades).

Worked as an intern with the primary job of driving the CDOT vehicle around the greater Denver metro area measuring bridge clearances for historical reference and potential repair.
