About Tyandrah Ashley, Mfa
I am a strategic, analytical, and creative problem solver pursuing a brand strategy role to build brands that satisfy customer needs and solve innovative design challenges. As a Media Design Master of Fine Arts graduate at Full Sail University, I have created several media design challenges and case studies in order to understand how to define client needs and effectively communicate brand development with branding. My work included copywriting and recording a radio advertisement, designing a logo animation, and building a brand asset portfolio for a hockey team. My designs required skills in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Audition. I have developed my writing skills, strategic ability, and design talent through my experience in this degree program. I created my own streetwear brand called 97th Avenue. I was the photographer, photo editor, graphic designer, and copywriter for social media posts. I shot the photos mainly in Arizona and some are in Pennsylvania with a T5 Canon Rebel DSLR. I learned how to research a target audience, design a logo, write ads for Facebook and Twitter, sketch design concepts, and shoot street photography and event photography, all on my own. In this role, I learned to plan, develop, implement, and manage the overall brand strategy. As Program Developer, I served my country for one year with AmeriCorps. My duties included planning, organizing, and managing the curriculum and events for the After School Program for youth. I coordinated with my supervisor to create 10 new partnership workshops to improve reading, writing, and social skills. I supervised volunteers to play and connect with the youth. I reached 200 youth, achieved $1500 in grant funding for new equipment, and was nominated for a Shining Star Award for my commitment to program success. As President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Collegiate Chapter, my duties included creating the student-run organization, managing events, and supervising the team. With my team, I created a partnership with Arizona Gives Day, a national fundraising campaign, where we organized an event to reach 15,000 college students and contribute to $1.4 million in fundraising dollars. As a result of my educational and professional experiences in media design and program development, I have received several awards for consistency in strong work ethic and excellence in producing quality outputs.Behance Portfolio: https://www.behance.net/tollesonun1c71Personal Website: https://tollesonuniversity.wixsite.com/tyandrahashley
