I’m a UX/UI Designer with years of experience as a User Support Specialist which has grown my passion for empathizing with users. I am a natural at creative problem solving, and as a hobby, I grew a love for graphic design and developed a great eye for aesthetics. As a User Support Specialist, I deepened my understanding of the importance of communication and putting myself in the place of the users. I realized on the job that not everyone had the same understanding that I had when it came to how technology works and sometimes it made it difficult for them to identify the nature of their problem. Once I knew the solution to their problem, I practiced showing empathy towards them by ensuring that they have a positive experience.Transferring over to UX Design, I have built upon this skill set while taking an extensive UX/UI design course offered by CareerFoundry. I acquired UX/UI Design experience while working on several different case studies and specifically learned how to conduct research, analyze data, sketch wireframes, prototype, conduct tests, and make iterations to my designs.
