Pittsburgh born experiential designer, immersive artist, and Raja yoga teacher, Tye Clarke, is a creative powerhouse with the core belief that joy is a primary key to liberation. Her duality as both arts administrator and artist, as well as her involvement in social justice and culture work, has motivated Tye to create with the bigger picture in mind. After studying at Parsons School for Design and receiving her BS from Kent State University, she relocated to NYC to pursue a career as a fashion publicist. After returning from Brooklyn, Tye co-founded CoCoHaus Creative Solutions, a social innovation consultancy aimed at arming creatives, organizers and small arts organizations of color with the tools needed to become not just the source of creativity, but the architects of their vision. Tye’s work earned her a place in The Incline’s 2019 Who’s Next: Communications class and finalist selection for Coro Pittsburgh’s 2019 Distinguished Young Leadership Award. CoCoHaus’ upward momentum and ethos won the consultancy a spot in Ascender’s 2019 competitive business incubator. The multi-hyphenate continues to foster her passions, recently pursuing a certification in UX design and being appointed YogaRoots On Location’s Director of Marketing & Digital.
