As digital media and graphic design intern for the University Marketing and Communications (UMC) department at Buena Vista University, my focus is coverage of interim activity. Throughout the month, I photograph on-campus courses and their activities as well as gather photos from BVU travelers and other interns around the world via Facebook.--I have completed my month-long internship at UMC and I am happy to announce that I have accepted a second internship with them for the spring semester.

Through this internship, I gained experience and knowledge about working with a non-profit organization, managing social media to increase online traffic as well as physical traffic to the gallery, web design, content management. I also sharpened my photography and graphic design skills.
