I wear many hats at ExceptioNULL Games. I'm currently the Lead Technical Designer and Software Engineer working on and maintaining the games. In addition to gameplay engineering and game design, I also dabble in marketing and community management. During my time at ExceptioNULL Games I've developed many games from the ground up, including: Election Year Knockout, Wordcation, Finders Sweepers, and Golf Towers, and am now building a sequel to our Election Year Knockout game currently titled Knockout 2: Wrath of the Karen. In addition to the development of these titles, I've also helped to market them and help to manage the communities around them through our Discord server.I've been designing simple board games, card games, and other games with my best friends since I was a child at Whitman Elementary. When I was around 11 years old I found Game Maker 7. I quickly fell in love with making video games, but my ambitions were beyond my skill level at that point in time. I began making mods for Starcraft Broodwar shortly afterwards, and then moved onto making Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne mods until Starcraft 2 came out and I began making mods for that instead.Fast forward several years and I find myself with a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science Eastern Washington University. I've got my degree to hone my skills and to build a foundation of knowledge with which to make video games, websites, apps, and more!
