Designer Pages was an innovative furniture search engine. I oversaw all design and frontend development, including the eventual creation of a robust B2B SaaS product within the application.

I started my freelance career while a student at NYU. I designed logos and built websites in the back of classes about Russian history or whatever. I got hooked. Out of my freelance practice, Cantilever was born.

Handi-Lift is the leading accessibility contractor in the Northeastern United States. Collaborating with an external consultant, I developed and presented the company’s marketing strategy for 2009 and 2010. Then, I clarified the Handi-Lift identity for application in new marketing collateral, which I designed. I also refreshed the company website with concise, keyword rich copy, a new design, and strong photography. I implemented SEO techniques that put Handi-Lift on the front page for many important keywords, driving a 51% increase in average daily traffic.

Burning Media is a boutique marketing firm with a culturally significant client base. As a student, I helped consult with clients, listening and learning while offering (what I considered) valuable insight. I also participated in the design and execution of print and outdoor advertising campaigns. At the office, I assembled and administered a small business network and supervised the purchase and installation of numerous laptops, desktops and mobile phones. I served as personal assistant to Managing Director Gordon Pennington from 2005 to 2008.
