I worked on a game called Celtic Heroes that is currently available on the App Store for all iOS devices.I have done technical support for the players in the game. This involved management of all their account/s details and ensuring they have an enjoyable experience. This involved dealing with player to player issues, bugs and feedback, security management and any issues relating to premium purchases. I have also done development on the support tool used for this customer support using a C# form front end and MySQL back end. This involved developing an object orientated approaching to managing the large volumes of data and providing a user friendly solution for non-technical personnel in the company. I worked with the Lead Developer making GUI's and working with the game engine to port our project to a more manageable codebase. This used C# with 3rd party libraries and tools for multi-platform distribution.My time on support tool development was building a fully featured chat log reporting module that allowed the support worker to query any period and any players logs with an in-view cross comparison with other players. I was also involved in general maintenance of the tool and fixing outstanding/ongoing bugs.I was also involved in setting up data mining information that integrated with the server to provide an analytic overview of player trends for a set period of time. This was aimed at user retention and responding more directly to gameplay habits and bugs.
