Senior Policy Advisor, Intergovernmental Relations Unit (Iru), Strategic Policy Branch
Current- Lead, coordinate and execute inter and intra-governmental studies, projects and policy development initiatives that have impact on health care delivery systems in Ontario
- Conduct and present research and analysis to ensure that new and augmented policies and programs consider funding, governance and stakeholder interest, while advancing Ontario’s position on priority health issues
- Support Manager of IRU, Deputy Minister of Health, and Associate Deputy Minister of Health by identifying provincial and federal health care trends, directions and/or issues, and providing policy advice and.
- Develop briefing notes, one-pagers, reports, presentations, speaking remarks and annotated agendas, including materials that support quarterly Health Deputy Ministers’ Conferences and the bi-annual Health Ministers’.
- Steward effective relationships and manage communication with intragovernmental program leads to ensure exchange of information and research that supports with senior management and central agencies’ requests related.
- Represent IRU and Branch interests at intra and inter-ministry working groups and meetings, including dental services, health human resources, digital health and data, and mental health and addictions
