My name is Ty Harper and I have been born and raised in Newport Beach. I went to High School locally at Corona Del Mar where I received numerous awards, including the Leigh Steinberg scholarship for leadership in the community. Was also a Daly Pilot top 100 most influential in Newport Beach my Senior year. Furthermore, I went to Golden West Junior College had a great year of baseball and academics and then moved on to the University of Alabama. Then stayed a year at Alabama and was given ten at bats. So if your not playing find somewhere where you will, I truly believe in that philosophy. Ended my career at Pepperdine University, where I majored in Physical Education, and minored in Kinesiology. Pepperdine was gracious enough to give me a fifth year so I graduated instead of furthering my career. At that time I figured out that I wanted to coach and teach the young youth the right way to play baseball. I currently reside in Corona Del Mar and just received word that I will be the freshman high school baseball coach. I also maintain and renovate many fields for both sides of the town. Also, coaching the Bat Rays 11's and 12's. And then finally having time to give some lessons for those who want to take it to the next level.Specialties: Instruction on Baseball Fundamentals covering: Throwing, Hitting, Pitching and more.
