During this role I managed a small team of 10 staff members leading the recruitment process, when necessary, I am also working with a steering group regarding the cladding as well as compiling a FAQ document for the residents with regards to the cladding. We currently have a lift refurbishment program ongoing to refurbish all thirty-two lifts across the development with twenty-four being completed on schedule and on budget as of July 2022. My Daily duties include taking deliveries, handling keys and access, sorting mail and customer service for residents and visitors to the building. Along with these duties I have also been responsible for maintenance checks (electrical and water system flushing of any vacant or unoccupied apartments), completing internal and external patrols, reporting damage or defects I come across to the relevant contractor.

As a door supervisor my main role was always to ensure the staff and public safety by being vigilant, ensuring nobody was put at risk. A professional manner is always required as you are there to make sure crowds and queues are controlled so no trouble starts. Working as a team is essential as anything can happen quickly so you must be ready to respond with the help of co-workers. We must be able to liaise with local police as well as higher members of staff so that nobody gets injured including yourself as well as others. While doing this the roles would change depending on if I was working at major events at the Excel/Olympia, Festivals like Glastonbury or working on doors in pubs or clubs.
