I started in the work world young, in an unconventional job for someone my age at the time. I excelled fast and learned some valuable tools on the way. The superintendent of my school district, Dr. James Morris, became my mentor and set me up for opportunities that seemed to always be a step above where I thought I was at. I graduated from University of Nevada , Las Vegas in December of 2018 with a Bachelor's in Communication. My degree choice came to me after realizing the most important thing not only in the corporate world, but in life, is communication. Most people do not have this skill and struggle in daily corporate tasks. As a highly skilled former Assistant Manager at two locations, having over 8 years of customer service, I feel that my experience aligns well with the qualifications being sought out by companies. With more than eight years’ experience in retail and guest services, I am adept in employee motivation, revenue generation, and inventory control. Moreover, while my on-the-job experience has afforded me a well-rounded skill set, including first-rate conflict resolution and leadership skills, I excel at: • Motivating staff to improve performance and maximizing sales opportunities.• Training and mentoring new staff to ensure store has a high-performing team.• Developing and implementing social media and marketing plans• Managing daily administrative functions such as payroll, supply orders, and staff discipline.
