I implement lesson plans and classroom routines. I also serve in the activities that support the development of self-help skills (feeding, toileting, & dressing). I help in preparing and maintaining all records and data as required by regulation and the Bureau of Day Care, NY State Education Department, NYC Department of Education. I also assist in the care and presentation of the classroom environment, including cleaning toys and equipment, maintaining a rich early childhood environment by use of bulletin boards and classroom decorations, rotating toys and books, and investing in the overall classroom arrangement.
