The Staff QA Engineer at Modern Tribe plays a key role in both individual project success and overall team success. I drive technical QA decisions and am the primary QA contributor on the team. I collaborate with clients, project managers, strategists, designers and developers to ensure all aspects of quality on work produced. I work with Team Leads to ensure that we have correct resourcing, estimates, and aid in forecasting.I actively work to support the other QA analysts across the team & discipline - ensuring they stay on track, and are positively contributing. I provide both direct mentorship and feedback, and coordinate with the Team Leads and Principals for additional training when necessary.

Tyla joined the Pixo team in May 2010. Though she started as an Office Manager, Tyla is now Pixo’s Quality Assurance Lead, who works to ensure delivery of complete products and technologies as well as analyze QA standards across all departments. Tyla has also worked to integrate accessibility awareness, planning and testing throughout the various departments at Pixo. Tyla’s keen design eye and attention to detail helps ensure that quality assurance standards are met in all company documentation, sales proposals, and communications. Before Pixo, Tyla was the Marketing Coordinator for the Urbana Business Association. There, she oversaw all design and promotional aspects of UBA events and sponsorship for the Urbana Sweetcorn Festival. She also successfully implemented and managed the weekly Top Ten newsletter.In her spare time, Tyla bakes and decorates cakes.
