I am a William & Mary graduate with a major in Chinese language and culture, minor in entrepreneurship, and significant coursework in anthropology. My favorite classes were the ones that allowed me to learn about people and cultures and built my understanding of the world around me. The most valuable lesson from these classes wasn’t anything you could find in the syllabus. I learned how to think about problems and solutions and that if something seems simple, I’m probably not looking hard enough. I am currently interested in Human Resources or DEI positions. I am passionate about sustainability as it pertains to all its dimensions- environmental, economic, and especially social. Helping people feel like they belong and are supported is something that I’d ideally be involved with in my job. I understand the it’s the structure behind the physical institution that influences the social institution.
