I designed portable scaling jigs in CAD and manufactured them using TIG welding to allow the team to calibrate the racing car’s weight distribution accurately at competitions. I made a total of 4 of these portable scaling jigs. Each one has 4 leveling feet that's the height can be adjusted to allow the calibration to be done on uneven surfaces. Working for the Aristilde Research Group at the McCormick school of Engineering and Applied Sciences.Constructed 2 theoretical polymers excreted from bacteria in Materials Studio, together the two polymers had roughly 3,200 atoms total.Measured how accurately simulations using the COMPASSII force-field calculated bond lengths and angles of 8 natural polymers.Mentored an incoming intern.
