I am a former SDE II at Amazon in Tempe, AZ working on the Seller Appeals team.I was formally an instructor at ASU. My PhD work was centered on research in Game Based Learning. I have a varied background that gives me an uncommon skill set that allows me to build and design educational games, both from the software side as well was the learning theory side.My doctoral research focuses on disconnecting the learning content being taught from the game mechanics, which allows those mechanics to be reused without edits for other content domains.
