Singly founded and created an all vegan hot sauce brand focused on sustainability to sell at local farmer and vendor markets. Devised sauce recipes utilizing peppers grown and harvested by me. Designed the entire brand, including name, logo, labels, and website.

Designed and executed laboratory experiments to understand the impacts of earthworms on lunar regolith simulant for potential future applications related to farming on the moon.

Lead teaching assistant (TA) for introductory environmental science course with over 370 students, 7 total TAs, and 4 instructors. Responsibilities included being a primary contact for students, discussion leader, grader, and being the lead for weekly TA and course instructor meetings.

Constructed and carried out challenging field work plans sampling invasive earthworm populations and soils throughout remote research sites in Alaska. Analyzed the samples from this field work in the laboratory to understand the effects of invasive earthworms on Alaskan ecosystems and soils. Conducted data analysis, created maps, and collaborated on drafting a manuscript for publication in an academic journal.

Evaluated earthworm and soil samples from Alaska to understand impacts of invasive earthworm on Alaskan boreal forest carbon stocks and soil properties.

Assisted implementing organics recycling across the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campuses.

Traveled throughout Minnesota collecting visitor data at state parks and trails, staying at campsites.
