Positive-Strides.org provide guidance and assistance to athletes who have suffered catastrophic or life changing sports-related injuries. Our mission is to provide mental, physical, and/or financial support to athletes who have suffered sports-related and career-ending injuries. Our goal is to provide services to help guide injured athletes in the right direction and steer them to look at the positives in life before facing depression and addictions. Our game plan includes providing injury prevention seminars to athletic organizations, youth organizations and parent groups. -Client development preparation and event sponsorship execution for signature events that include but are not limited to: Military Bowl, Medal of Honor ceremony, Military Bowl Parade, Gold Cup · Responsible for developing and creating marketing niche to exceed $500,000 dollars in financial goals and benchmarks for corporate and non-profit organizations · Nurtured, cultivated, steward, and expanded donor base · Successful relationship building resulting in new business, corporate and individual support · Responsible for generating new business, event and fundraising opportunities for non-profit and for profit companies which include: Positive-Strides.org, Chris Baker 92 Foundation and the Virginia Gold Cup Association to include the Spring Virginia Gold Cup Steeplechase Race and the Fall International Gold Cup Race · Plan, strategize, organize, and execute Positive-Strides.org signature fundraising event: Bourbon, Bowtie, Cigar events (Annapolis, MD and Charleston, SC) annually · Responsible for all corporate and grass roots fundraising with an annual fundraising goal of $200,000, reaching goal · Create, maintain and manage donor databases · Research grant opportunities, write and submit more than 20 grants quarterly· Attend external business meetings and networking opportunities on regular basis to grow awareness with potential donors and local businesses · Responsible for stewardship program for donors which includes personal and custom thank you plans for donors
