Currently a 4th year student at Santa Clara University studying for a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering, with a Minor in Aeronautical Engineering. At the same time, I continue to pursue my long time passion of flying, now as a commercial multi-engine pilot.Born in Singapore and attended boarding school in Switzerland, I had the opportunity to be raised internationally, meeting and working with people from all over the world. High school gave me the opportunity to excel in academics, music, and theater, where I honed the skills of team leadership, learning, and perseverance.After finishing the International Baccalaureate, I returned to Singapore to complete national service, where I became an Honor Graduate from the Signals Specialist Cadet Course and was awarded a "Silver Bayonet" and earned the rank of Third Sergeant. After training one batch of recruits, I was promoted to Second Sergeant and to the position of Platoon Sergeant, becoming the commander of the 42nd Singapore Armored Regiment 13th Mono Signal Platoon. This gave me the opportunity to manage a larger team, and learn technical skills while being in the first combat unit to work with the new Hunter Armored Fighting Vehicle.
