Ty Clarke specializes in industrial leasing and sales in the Port of Tacoma, Pierce County, and the Kent Valley. Prior to starting his brokerage career with Kidder Mathews, Ty engaged in client research projects in multiple markets including South Seattle and Pierce County, working with senior brokers Thad Mallory, Matt Wood, and Ray Schuler in 2013 and 2014.

Cataloged all current tenants in SeaTac Transiplex Industrial Park, Northwest Corporate Park, Lakewood Industrial Park, and TransPacific Industrial Park, determining lease renewal dates, tenant spatial requirements, and property-owner contact information on over 300 prospective clients.Completed one Broker’s Opinion of Value (appraisal) for client property by collecting property statistics, tax information, and historical prices on multiple comparable properties in order to determine client’s property value resulting in client-supervising broker transaction.Led property tours, including tour of County Line 50 Industrial Park, being one of two final investment considerations for out-of-state investors.

Analyzed industrial and commercial real estate markets in the Seattle area in order to develop informational handouts used as supplemental information by brokers. The documents were used when meeting with investment brokers and property developers from out of state.Collected basic contact information on over 1,000 potential clients, and input contact information on Real Estate Applications (corporate database) for use by commercial brokers.

Completed various tenant improvements on industrial, office, and retail buildings in the Pacific Northwest. Responsible for demolition, construction, debris removal, and other rigorous jobsite work.In charge of floor improvement project (applying cement sealant and wax) on 500,000 square foot warehouse, completing project ahead of schedule by organizing and scheduling up to eight hired labor personnel.
