I started with Husqvarna right after the relaunching of the brand under new ownership. Being involved at the ground floor was a special opportunity to grow Husqvarna Motorcycles into the pioneering brand it is today.Prior to working for Husqvarna Motorcycles, I was a minority owner of a powersports dealership. It wasn't always easy as I started right before the Great Financial Crisis and had just made the commitment to build a new premium facility. The challenges of that time taught me how to operate lean, remain optimistic, and to trust my instincts. Despite the industry contracting substantially in those years, I helped grow the dealership sales substantially while maintaining a customer first company culture. Wanting to pursue other options led to my role in brokering the sale of the dealership to a new owner in 2013. This was a family dealership that I was a minority stakeholder in. During this time, we built a new facility, added two new brands, and saw large growth during an incredibly difficult time in the industry.I was involved in all facets of dealership operations, with a primary focus on the sales and F&I. In 2012, I found a buyer for the dealership and the sale closed in June, 2013. The sale of the dealership was an exit strategy for all stakeholders, and allowed me the opportunity to pursue other interests.
