I am a quantitative ecologist and draw on a broad background in landscape ecology, statistics, GIS, and ecological modeling to provide conservation practitioners with the information and tools needed to make better decisions. My research spans many topics, geographies, and scales, but it is often highly applied and problem-oriented. I believe strongly in a collaborative model of conservation that links scientists, natural resource managers, and stakeholders to craft effective solutions.
