Handles tax credit and Canadian certification applications for various production types with CAVCO, Ontario Creates and the CRTC.Assists legal counsel with production clearances including tracking clearances throughout production, reviewing cuts of episodes, conducting reverse image searching and researching any potential clearance flags to analyze risk.

• Negotiated agreements, reviewed programming for clearance purposes and facilitated insurance coverage for multiple documentary series, including, Daily Planet, Mighty Ships, Mighty Cruise Ships, Mighty Trains, Disasters At Sea, and MegaSpeed, which all filmed around the world.• Developed a process to expedite clearance segment reviews for full length documentary programs which was implemented for use by all thirty segment producers and other production teams.• Liaised with Bell’s Risk Management insurance department to facilitate insurance coverage for all programs in production and to review internally any for potential insurance concerns. • Led weekly meetings with individual production teams to continue to support upcoming episode shoots and to discuss potential future episodes.• Researched local drone laws and regulations for onsite filming to identify and mitigate against issues that may arise. Reviewed stock footage license agreements and public domain footage requests so the production team could be sure they could use footage in their program. • Partnered with the Bell Music department and the Copyright department for music clearance and title searches for company programming.• Assisted the Distribution department with stock footage and segment sales and conducted takedowns of illegal postings of company documentary series on various video services.

• Reviewed raw footage of shoot discs and wrote concise notes to assist the Post Production team with finding clips when editing.• Supported the Line Producer and Production Coordinator with the rough-cut review process by identifying all clearance concerns. • Completed release log files for episodes and scanned all episode releases to incorporate into a wrap binder for distribution purposes.• Created a document to assist with training all future media loggers including critical job requirements. The document was implemented for use with the ongoing rough-cut review process.
