Hello, LinkedIn community!I come from a law enforcement background, where I have developed several skills such as customer service, analysis, critical thinking, and problem solving. After four years of service as a police officer, I am excited to explore a new career.During my law enforcement career, I ensured the security and protection of a large population, as well as managing access to many sensitive information systems. I thrived in high-pressure situations with strict deadlines and responding to emergency situations with minimal supervision.In October of 2023, I graduated from Western Governors University with a degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance. During my studies, I earned various certifications including CompTIA PenTest+, CySA+, Security+, Network+, A+, and more. I also became an Associate of (ISC)2. These certifications demonstrate my commitment to my personal and professional development in the information technology field.My unique professional and academic background allows me to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, collaborate within teams, work with a variety of software and hardware, and analyze systems. In my personal life I have built, configured, and troubleshot several computers, installed a home security system in my residence, upgraded my home network, and have completed multiple home projects to further develop my skillset.I believe my dedication, combined with my passion for information technology, will allow me to excel in my new career.
