Under the general direction of the Office of the President, plays the leading role in ensuring that a mutually beneficial relationship exists between the college and its graduates. Responsible for the successful planning and execution of alumni programs and events that will enhance alumni relations. Develop, organize, maintain and promote alumni engagement activities that enhances awareness of the College and the benefits of maintaining an ongoing relationship as an alumni. Further, affect successful strategies to maintain an up to date database of all alumni and, from time to time conduct research which supports this.Be a member of the Student Services Leadership team and will work collaboratively with the Student Life activity planning group to plan and implement events on and off campus for the benefit of current students and alumni. Working closely with the marketing and communications team to effectively develop materials that will be used to engage alumni and students. This includes managing the process of all issues of the alumni magazine, and working closely with the marketing and communications team and student life team in developing print, e-mail, social media and web-based communications strategies.Develop and maintain an active alumni volunteer base and involve members in decisions impacting alumni service provision.Direct any alumni bursary or award inquiries to the student financial assistance office and ensure that there is collaboration and mutual support between the two areas of responsibility. Advancement or capital donation inquiries will be directed to the Director of Marketing and Communications.Coordinate all affinity services, including the extension of services, to ensure excellence in services provided to alumni. This will involve coordinating all affinity programs and communications of such to ensure full compliance with the freedom of information and protection of privacy..

Ensuring the quality and accessibility of Sault College programming while maintaining consistency with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.Other responsibilities include the maintenance of academic integrity policies and working with faculty in ensuring that course learning outcomes are met through accommodations testing.

Sault College Students’ Union (SCSU) is an elected board of students whose purpose is to serve the students of Sault College and safeguard their best interests in college wide issues.
