-Provide Subject Matter Expert support for USDA IT investment program management-Assess IT projects compliance with program management standards, identify variances and corrections needed, manage resolution of issues, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting-Meet with Federal team and Contract Officers to develop annual spend plans and forecasts, track monthly invoices, and identify cost savings opportunities-Present at USDA Agencies’ Investment Review Board meetings, where leadership votes to approve funding for various projects-Analyze budget, performance, metrics, documentation, risks, and schedules during regular portfolio reviews with USDA Section Chief, IT Project Managers, and Program Managers-Allocate costs and forecast vendor labor and hardware expenses by analyzing contract awards/modifications, funding information, cost breakdowns, database extracts, etc.-Submit various deliverables to the Customer as part of contractual obligations, such as status reports, technical documentation, and software development release information

-Supported the Bell-Boeing V-22 helicopter manufactured for the U.S. Military-Coordinated with the Contracts and Engineering teams to allocate and distribute projects’ funding stated in contracts (FFP, CPFF, LOE, etc.)-Held Program Review and Quarterly Review meetings with Project Managers and leadership to discuss data for Annual Operating Plan inputs-Provided month-end and year-end financial reports to the customer regarding actual costs incurred, forecasts of cost at project completion, and variances due to various causes (headcount, indirect rate adjustments, etc.)-Used past trends to recommend courses of action regarding spending, budget requests, and period of performance extensions -Updated schedules and maintained Project Managers’ various labor and material tasks for several multi-million-dollar projects; assumed the lead PCA role for a $70M project-Conducted funding analyses by determining cost and fee invoiced-to-date, total claimed, and progress payment amounts to assist with reconciliations and funding requests-Pulled transactional A/R data from SAP to prepare journal vouchers for adjustments needing to be made for charges that were past the period of performance for projects

-Internal Auditor on the Business Process Controls team-Acted as a liaison between Textron Corporate and Ernst & Young to investigate and prove SOX compliance for CapEx, Commercial A/R, Military A/R, and Inventory areas-Performed audits and verified compliance with the DFARS Business Systems Clause and SOX section 404 requirements across all Textron military business units to reduce and eliminate government withholds

-Finance Business Partner in Finance Operations Area-Analyzed financial metrics and models used in planning, forecasting, and reporting actuals through SAP and BI tools during the integration of Beechcraft and Cessna into Textron Aviation-Created dashboards and reports that allowed managers and direct labor employees at the production facilities to take actions that ultimately improved manufacturing production and efficiency

-Assist the Corporate Credit Department in reducing the risk of loss due to uncollectible receivables-Accept credit apps, analyze creditworthiness of new and existing clients, establish and maintain credit limits, monitor collection of receivables and work on various finance projects

-College internship program that involves collaboration with a team of IT professionals to maintain a Fortune 200 company’s functioning information technology department-Experience with the Consumerization, SharePoint, Supply Chain Planning, Sales and Marketing Reporting and PMO Governance teams
