I am an architect that has happily spent my career in Boise, ID bouncing back and forth between designing in urban environments and escaping into the great Idaho wilderness. Design inspiration can come from anywhere so I find it prudent to immerse myself in a wide range of activities and surroundings. Camping, hiking, trail running, rafting, climbing, gardening are just a few activities I try to engage in regularly. When I'm not working or doing one of the aforementioned hobbies I enjoy exploring the wonders of the kitchen. Anyone that knows me would be surprised if I didn't mention my obsession with hot sauce. Collecting, tasting and creating the sauce has lead me to become an armchair expert that will talk your ear off about peppers, heat and flavor profiles, history, and cultural influences peppers have. I will catch myself after about 10 minutes of blasting you with pepper related facts and give you a friendly warning that if you keep asking questions it will be a while before this well runs dry.I'm an avid reader of fiction and take book recommendations seriously. I also take my lists very seriously so, whether you recommend a book or we are having a random conversation, I will likely take my phone out and add something to a list. If I don't already have a list that item belongs on you can bet a new one will be added to the list of lists.
