Read and share here: https://rdcu.be/dYul8As a postdoctoral fellow at the Salk Institute, I apply computational biology techniques to investigate the intricate connections between brain aging, mortality, and Alzheimer's Disease risk. Working under the guidance of Dr. Tanya Sharpee, a distinguished neuroscientist, I utilize advanced mathematical, statistical, and physical methods to explore how the brain's billions of neurons exchange energy and information.My passion for unraveling aging-related mechanisms and individual variations in lifespan and healthspan through computational methods was cultivated during my Ph.D. studies in the Biology of Aging program at the University of Southern California. There, I collaborated with the Kapahi and Brem labs, employing both computational and biological tools to examine the relationships between metabolites, genes, and aging-related phenotypes in Drosophila melanogaster. My research findings have been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at multiple conferences.I am committed to advancing the field of aging research and contributing to the Salk Institute's mission through innovative computational approaches and interdisciplinary collaboration.
