The Advisor in all RVU-CO programs serves as an on- and off-campus resource for prospective and incoming students, providing guidance on admissions requirements, academic eligibility, program options, and course equivalencies. The Advisor also manages recruitment and retention activities for prospective students, both in-person and virtual, and maintains data on registrants and attendees. They attend conferences and recruitment fairs to network and increase retention of current students. The Advisor co-manages respective programs and provides input to the development of recruitment strategies, particularly for underrepresented and underserved populations. Additionally, the Advisor plans and oversees informational meetings and hosts events to establish connections with the community and prospective students, while also fulfilling any additional duties as assigned.
