• Serve as the Principal Architect/SME for the Azure Environment.• Provide both technical and strategic consulting for hands-on implementation of Cloud Cost Optimization, Identity Access Management (IAM), Infrastructure, Network(/Security), PKI, CI/CD Pipelines, and more.• Shape large-scale projects with input from both technical and financial consulting, primarily driven by empirical data.• Train and explain core Cloud concepts, offering hands-on technical assistance to resources new to Cloud.• Collaborate with internal and offshore resources as the final point of escalation internally to resolve various problems encountered during the buildout of the Azure Environment, including network, IAM, Private Endpointing, Active Directory Domain Services, Group Policy, DNS, etc.• Develop in-house solutions using Azure Automation Accounts/Powershell to programmatically deploy NSG Flow Log Collection.• Mass deploy Azure Enterprise Scale Policies through ARM and implement these policies as assignment packages for programmatically deploying diagnostic/logging settings to Azure Resources.• Design and Deploy 3rd party NVA Firewalls via Terraform Enterprise Module to span multiple environments and tenants. Collect NetFlow data for auditing, and create secure rulesets to protect network traffic based on the collected audit data.• Leverage Firewall Rest API to eliminate repetitive tasks• Provide guidance and development support to internal teams on CI/CD pipelining, Terraform, Terraform Enterprise, Azure Rover, Landing Zones, etc., to enhance Infrastructure as Code operations.• Implement identity-based security solutions to enhance coverage and detection for Certificate Authorities, Domain Controllers, and other highly sensitive pivot points within the environment.• Analyze existing software assets, identifying deficiencies, potential replacements, and areas for improvement within tools that the business is already entitled to.

•Evaluate automated account lifecycle management processes and systems. Develop, test, and implement changes to improve security, performance, experience, and stakeholder satisfaction.•Author CloudFormation templates leveraging custom resources to accommodate unique business use cases into an Infrastructure as Code deployment model (IaC). Leveraging custom resources allowed for deployments at scale that would otherwise not be possible with CloudFormation.•Work with key stakeholders to build VPC architecture (as code) that accommodates business needs and security requirements•Implement AWS Control Tower for a multi-account foundation with security, auditing, and compliance requirements architected for scale. at the center•Automate legacy business processes to produce positive, sustainable changes/results•Oversee PKI architecture in AWS and on-premise. Implement monitoring changes to better alert parties regarding upcoming certificate expirations•Architect AWS IAM strategy leveraging automation to provide a secure solution that scales•Evaluate, author, and implement AWS Service Control Policies designed to secure our AWS environment organization wide•Monitor CVE's, zero days, and other vulnerabilities that could impact our security posture.
