Currently working for United Petroleum Transports as the Communications and Marketing Manager. Previously, I was the Communications Director for the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association. Before that, I ran the State Charitable Campaign and the Heart of the City campaign on behalf on United Way. Together, these campaigns raise over $1,000,000 annually. I have also directed the Combined Federal Campaign, which raised $2,200,000. These campaigns require working with and managing hundreds of government employees and volunteers across the state of Oklahoma.Before I started at United Way, I worked for a small non-profit called A New Leash On Life. They primarily focused on training service dogs, however, I was the manager of the facility and fundraising efforts. I maintained the website, social media accounts, and a massive database of animal welfare groups in Oklahoma. During the 2013 tornado disaster in Moore, OK, we opened up our facility to provide intake for animals lost during the storm, so that they could be reunited with their owners. It was an amazing, yet difficult experience. I managed over 1000 volunteers during the two months of relief and had to learn as I went on how to accept large donations, both in-kind and monetary. We reunited over 100 animals with their owners, vaccinated every animal that came in, and any animal that was not reunited was later adopted.
